I hope it's not just a PR-show lawsuit and particularly Apple's (and other big players') strategy is being investigated here.

It was quite clear from the start that Apple needs to catch up in this industry and is ramping up an AI-marketplace on its platforms which gives them first-refusal rights for every AI-task, and ONLY THEN allows the user to select a third party to complete it.

So Apple can profit with Revenue Share from 3rd party achievements until they can do it themselves and simply don't provide the task routing-option anymore.

In my opinion this is a much more critical anti-competitive business-model being built here than the fact that they started with OpenAI as their (only) initial 3rd party...
