Show HN: I built Waisy, an AI Notepad for music artists, helping thousands

Hi everyone,

I’m Federico. I’ve been a music producer for years, mentoring artists and producing events, and I’ve been programming since I was 15. Waisy combines these two passions: music and code.

I noticed a common problem: ideas get lost, lyrics stall, and there’s no simple space to capture inspiration. Waisy is an AI-powered notepad that helps artists write lyrics, take notes, and overcome creative blocks, right when inspiration hits. It also has a built-in audio player, so artists can listen to tracks while writing or experimenting with lyrics, making it a perfect tool for music creation. It’s fast, simple, and lightweight.

In our first month, we got 5,000 registered users, and now in our second month we have about 3,500 monthly active users. Around 5% of them open the app daily, and over 90% come back, showing it’s useful exactly when artists need it.

Next, I’m working on an iOS version, improving the AI, and growing our user base globally. Waisy is small but designed to have a big impact on an artist’s creative workflow.

I’d love feedback from musicians, developers, or anyone interested in how AI can improve creative workflows.
