And then, when that fails to happen, he'll come up with some other nonsense that will "justify" the extreme overvaluation of the company at an indeterminate point in the future. Rinse and repeat. The question, really, is how much longer are the money people going to believe what he says?

Hard to imagine anyone buying this. "Yeah, our products aren't doing so well, but soon our unreleased product in a completely different and unproven market will make them irrelevant!"

SpaceX was completely different and unproven. Now it launches 3 times per week. Once you do that, people with money tend to believe in your abilities.
