The idea that either of these two would live for another 80 years is without a doubt the worst thing I have read in the last 5 years, or perhaps ever.

As though America's oligarchs aren't having the same conversations. I know a few US billionaires who already clone their pets, and a bunch more investing heavily in longevity, across multiple fields of research.
