This is neat, but absolutely doesn't fit a lot of people's use cases:
> I don’t need notifications about events on my smartphone. If a notification tells me about an event I forgot, it would be too late anyway. And if my phone is on silent, like always, the notification is useless anyway.
I absolutely need to at least be able to look at my calendar on my smartphone.
And if a notification about an event arrives too late, that means you've configured your notifications wrong; I get notifications about certain things the day before ("take out the trash/recycling"), about certain things an hour beforehand ("pick up child from school early for doctor's appointment"), and certain things 5 minutes before-hand ("telehealth appointment").
So I'm glad this works for them, but this is a system and a workflow for someone who only needs to know about their calendar while they're on the computer, and that's not me.
