I built a Chrome extension that answers interview questions in real time

I started this as a small side project just for myself. The idea was simple: make interviews less stressful by offloading some of the thinking to AI.

How it works: You record the interviewer’s question It instantly generates a structured answer You focus on delivering it clearly

I didn’t expect much, but after using it myself I was surprised how effective it turned out to be. Within a month, a few others tried it too — some even shared they landed offers with its help.

Still early, but I’m fascinated by how small tools like this can actually shift the dynamics of something as stressful as interviews.

If you’re curious, you can check it out here: https://voicemeetai.com

I think I interviewed someone who was using something similar recently. Now, my interview questions are never textbook ones and always have a connection to person's resume or their previous answers. So after awhile, it became pretty clear than I am getting generic answers from LLM.

This was one of the few times I gave "strong no hire" response.

I actually just added a feature where you can upload your resume or any extra files, and it also keeps the context of previous questions during the interview. But at the end of the day, it’s more of a small “nudge” than something you just read off. If you don’t know anything about the topic, it won’t really help you anyway.
