The connectors on these are questionable (on the card) but I'm very much looking forward to swapping these into my Tiny Lenovos in my home lab.

I'm currently using the 2.5G modules of similar family today.

The few 5gbps rtl8126 I have do work well and cost me peanuts on aliexpress.

This is very good news. We can finally all just move to 10gbps.

Cheap switches next, I hope.

I bought one of the Iocrest ones from Aliexpress so I didn't block my gpu's intake, with the AQC113 chip, and it worked perfectly right out of the box - much better than the Asus XG-C100C which made me configure it to get max 2.5gbps. I thought it was windows. Note it gets super hot (like 90°C even with the heatsink).
