I have been doing work in the 3D cad space. Primarily using existing kernels but now that the patent for T-Splines is expired I figured I would give it a go to implement.

There is lots of information about BSplines and NURBS and I have implemented them. However T-Splines seems rather illusive, especially given their hype in other posts.

Does anyone have any good resources or references for figuring out how to actually implement them? I'm looking for things like lectures, reference implementations or other sources that make the concept clear.
