Hello HN!
I built Verse as a simple, fast and effortless way to write documents using Markdown and CSS for styling. I was tired of using Word and other Markdown editors bloated with loads of features, and ever since I met Markdown I fell in love with it.
Verse (my first open source project) has a built in AI assistant foi when your Markdown skills are a bit faulty, and support LaTeX and Mermaid.
It was built using NextJS 15, Convex, Clerk and UploadThing.
In the coming weeks I want to implement some improvements to the export functionality, and add some agent capabilities to the assistant, as well as an assistant to help with the CSS styling for the elements.
To read some more about it check out my blog post (blog.p4cs.com.br) about Verse.
I'm currently looking for early testers or contributors, any help is more than welcome!
So feel free to try Verse out and tell me what you think. Your first $2 of AI requests are on me!
