Show HN: AI agent that clones viral content structures to automate social growth

Hi HN, Jilong here, founder of SynthMind.app.

For the past year, my team and I have been obsessed with a single, massive problem: growth. Specifically, how can we use AI to crack the code of social media growth in a systematic way, beyond just luck and guesswork?

We started this journey by immersing ourselves in the world of social media marketing. We weren't just reading about it; we were running hundreds of experiments across different platforms, trying to understand the mechanics of what truly makes content "viral" and what actions actually lead to account growth.

What we found was fascinating. Success isn't random. It's often based on repeatable patterns: identifying hyper-relevant topics for a specific audience, deconstructing what makes a top post work, creating content based on these proven structures, and engaging with the community in a meaningful way.

Doing this manually was incredibly slow and exhausting. It felt like a perfect problem for an AI agent to solve.

So, we built SynthMind.app.

So, what is it?

SynthMind is an AI agent designed to be your social media growth partner. It combines the methodologies we discovered with the power of modern AI models.

Here’s how it works: 1.Finds & Clones Structures: Instead of you scrolling for hours, SynthMind constantly analyzes high-performing content in your niche. It doesn't just copy; it deconstructs these posts into their fundamental "structures" – the hook, the narrative style, the call-to-action, the visual format, etc. You get a library of proven templates to work from.

2.Creates Content: You pick a structure and provide a topic. The agent then helps you generate everything you need: engaging copy, relevant images, and even video scripts, all tailored to that successful format.

3.Automates Engagement: It also helps with the "growth" part by identifying key conversations to join and helping you draft relevant, non-spammy comments to build your presence.

The Tech Stack (How we built the agent): I know this community loves to peek under the hood, so here are some details on our architecture.

Our core is built around a multi-agent system orchestrated with LangGraph. This allows us to create complex, stateful workflows. Think of it as a team of specialized agents working together:

- One agent is a Trend Spotter, constantly scanning social media APIs, search engines, and niche databases to find emerging topics.

- Another is a Template Analyst, which deconstructs viral content into those "structures" I mentioned.

- Then we have Content Crafters for copy, video scripts, and, interestingly, images.

On the image generation front, we quickly realized that simple text-to-image wasn't enough. Most truly engaging social media images (like infographics, quote cards, text overlays) aren't what current models excel at. So, while we use AI models (e.g. Nano Banana, etc.) for some creative visuals, we also built a suite of our own custom image generation tools from scratch to produce these specific, high-impact formats.

The whole user experience is powered by a React-based architecture, making the interaction with the agents feel fluid and dynamic.

For data, we're hooked into a growing number of sources, including official social media APIs and various vertical-specific databases, to keep the insights fresh and relevant.

The final piece, automation, is handled through a plugin-based system. Right now, we have operators for X (Twitter) and LinkedIn, with more platforms on the way.

Why I'm here & What I'd love from you:

We're launching SynthMind today and I'm genuinely excited (and a bit nervous!) to share it with the HN community. You all are some of the most critical and insightful builders out there.

I would be incredibly grateful for your feedback, especially on these points: 1.Does the idea of "cloning content structures" resonate with you, or is it confusing? 2.What's the one feature you'd want to see in a tool like this to make it a "must-have" for your own project or personal brand? 3.We're still figuring out the best pricing model. How would you value a tool that could potentially save you hours each week and improve your social media presence? You can try it out now at https://synthmind.app. There's a free trial, no credit card required.

Thanks for reading this far. I'll be here all day to answer any and all questions. Let me know what you think!
