The anatomy of a machine-readable page

As an engineer myself, I’ve been fascinated by how AI systems actually read the web. Most writing about AI and content focuses on using AI to produce content, but I’m exploring the opposite: how to structure content so machines can parse and understand it.

I’m sharing what I learn as I go - this post looks at the building blocks of a machine-readable page. Would love feedback or pointers from anyone working in this area.
