With the thin nature of my macbook air doing all I need it maybe doesn't make any sense anymore, but I still sometimes think a big central rack for my home with a big computer / computers that anyone family member could use ... appeals to me in some ways.
At the same time my laptop is so thin bringing most everything with me seems pretty effortless.
