I used my ouija board to summon the spirit of Peter Zeihan and the spirit said that the US would just wait until their dependence on oil and other imports increase even more and then a blockade would stop all ships destin for Asia. I personally think the board is wrong but time will tell. The ouija board won't shut up about Patreon.
Rzor•4mo ago
I find him entertaining solely for the comment section when he's speaking about something the viewers know a tiny bit about. Most of his views can be summarized as "the US is in perfect or good position and everyone else is either screwed or fucked beyond belief". And I think he can't go two sequential videos without mentioning how China will become dust in a decade.

Completely agree. Sometimes there are little gems so I start looking for opposing views with mixed results. Holding a blockade in the middle east for a year would be quite the challenge. Not impossible, but very costly in both money and lives.

In the bigger picture - you could argue that China should have dominated the world for the past 2+ millennia. The real barriers to their ever doing so are internal - not in America. Nor nor Europe. Nor somewhere else.

(None of which prevents America from sabotaging itself into irrelevance, BTW):
