For a while, our team has been asking, "Why are good design models so expensive and huge?" So, we decided to build our own solution. I'm excited to share WEBGEN-OSS-20B, a new 20B open-weight model focused exclusively on generating production-ready, responsive websites. It’s small enough to run locally for fast iteration and is fine-tuned to produce clean, modern HTML/CSS with Tailwind. It prefers semantic HTML, sane spacing, and modern component blocks (hero sections, pricing tables, FAQs, etc.). Best of all, it's released under the Apache 2.0 license.
