A few comments discussed the sci-fi book "Rainbows End" recently so I decided to pick it up. What a fantastic book -- cute, well-written, and had some great ideas around the future of tech given it was written in 2006.

Really appreciate all the thoughtful comments on HN and grateful to have found this book.

I also recommend Gravity's Rainbow, but only if you come upon a desire to feel confused, angry and depressed by technology.
