I feel like governments are legislating businesses out of fear of the internet.

Meanwhile massive swaths of the internet are unfiltered, contain the content that they're afraid of and will be untouched.

The internet is a tool, I'd rather see effort teaching people how to use it responsibly ... not just legislate out of fear and declare the problem solved and actually accomplish nothing.
