How do you find the user interface for this site

What user interface?
incomingpain•4mo ago
There are apps and skins that people have made that look different. To each is own?

My understanding, Dang or whoever, have made specific UI and algo choices to try to prevent the problems inherent in the other social media platforms.

I think it's helped, but certainly not fixed. Kind of a classic security through obscurity thing going on.

I have thought about it as well. You cant fix the root cause obviously enough, way beyond your pay grade. Gatekeeping still leads to abuse. It cant be done manually.

AI seems to be the long term solution that's not possible today. Something like 100,000 tokens/s reasoning llm or possibly even more?

But what can you do until then? I said I thought about it, not that i found the fix.

I personally find it vastly preferable to the UI (and appearance) of most web sites.
