If you met an alien, what would you say to it?

Nothing, doubt they speak English and doubt there is benefit to them hanging out on this podunk backwards little planet. I would motion like a space-ship crashing into the planet, then have them take me to their ship. I would try to get their ship running so they leave and do not attract a bunch of agents and get their ship hijacked, impounded or get deported. If I am no help fixing the ship Ill try to hide it. If they won't leave I will have them sit with me to watch Independance Day and if they think its a documentary I will not correct them.

Or assume you are hallucinating.

@bender’s wisdom withstanding, when I “met” the aliens who can hear our every thought, when they are listening to us specifically, they may visit us in our minds wherever we are. And they have been here for 10,000 years, so they are no strangers. I said (first when they asked me if I knew why they didn’t get along, with the humans who weren’t me) they are trivial meddlesome scamps, and later while defending my politics that Man is “savage and bestial and must be delt with so.”

The aliens help make Abyss because they wanted to be our friends. America is firing hellfire missles at what they think is them, if that tells you how our relationships have evolved.

Did I mention they can hear every thought in your head? If you are worth listening to that is. Btw, so can about five hundred thousand other humans through Power (like the Stargate program only not cargo cult.)

Gotta love HN. Come for the sage technical insight, stay for the intense transgressive philosophy.
