The grok-code-fast-1 model is really impressive to me and is currently free on many platforms (GitHub Copilot, Cursor, Cline, Roo Code, Kilo Code, opencode, and Windsurf).
It's also only $0.20 per million input tokens and has good prompt caching support. In the times that I've accidentally selected the paid model on opencode, I have spent less than $0.01 for most tasks.
