Tell HN: Built AI slide builder in 50 days with high school friend, raised $200k

About 50 days ago I teamed up with my high school friend. We basically lived together 24/7, building Snapdeck — an AI slide builder (like Gamma, but fully editable and powered by our own model).

We just closed a $200k institutional seed round, and in 2 days we’re launching on Product Hunt.

Our ambition is simple but bold: to make PowerPoint unnecessary for quick internal decks.

I’m both nervous and excited. Would love to hear from HN — what pitfalls should we watch out for in early launches? And for those who’ve worked on AI text → structured slides, what edge cases broke your pipeline?
