Also, you can link your Google account by logging with Google with the same email and it would automatically link that.
Imho it needs to be MUCH simpler.
I don't have many subscriptions, certainly less than 10.
I don't want a weekly reminder.
All I want is a way to tell Vexly, for every subscription for which I want a reminder, that you need to send me a reminder on "day X" that I choose manually.
Could you please add something like this? Thanks.
The world is a complicated place: for example, for some subscriptions, I need to unsubscribe at least 30 days in advance.
For some I get billed every month but I bought a yearly pass, and I need to unsubscribe before the year is over (or, again, 30 days before the year is over).
Other things, such as domains, maybe don't auto-renew, but I better remember to renew them, etc.
It's a lot easier for me to figure out how the rules work case by case and just let you do the task of sending me 1 or 2 emails as a reminder on the dates I choose. Thank you!
Reading bank statement CSVs (and yes, there will be some customers who won't do that and its fine AND you will have to be more security conscious about how that works, dont store it etc) is likely going to see more onboarding success.
I really think the friction to solve here is onboarding, make that smooth and you will get better conversion.
You could of course go down the path of direct bank connection via aggregators but i'd leave that until PMF is found. I do think this will be your main friction point.

What makes Vexly different:
You get alerts 7 days before renewals so you can actually cancel in time. No bank connections needed, just pure privacy-first tracking.
Most people find 3-5 forgotten subscriptions in their first minute using Vexly. Our beta testers saved an average of $540 in year one.
