I wish I could believe this would go anywhere, but Trump's base had made clear that they just don't care. Trump hates the right people and says the right things, and that's all they care about. Unless someone in the Republican party grows a backbone and decides there's a few lines left they won't cross, they're going to continue to let him turn the US into his own private fiefdom.
