There's a scene in "The man in the high castle", where one of the characters has a line that goes something like "It's one thing to overthrow a government. It's another thing to be the government".
The easy part for BS was to boo-boo on twitter. That went well, and they got their users. Now they have to "be the government", and they'll soon find out that there is a lot of gray area in between what they thought is black and white. Life is never black and white. And a project built on black and white always gets consumed by the gray.

What a miserable and hopeless undertaking having to do this tightrope act of appeasing existing users, prospective users, advertisers and lawmakers. Managing a fledgling social media platform emerging out of ideological fault lines while others rake it in with GPT wrappers is an exercise in masochism.
