Git is an example how a technically inferior tool can still dominate. No offense, Linus: Git is great. But other DVCS exist, such as Mercurial SCM. Jujutsu has recently been the subject of much discussion. Given that 20 years ago, we worked with Subversion (SVN), I wonder what will be the state of the art tool in 20 years.

Like sure these eighteen pages contain the information I need, but what I wanted was a reminder that '-D' is the branch delete switch. It's a goddamn waste of my time to parse a manpage, it's faster to switch to my browser, open a tab, and take the summary at the top. Just write terse help text FFS
