this is a gift i made for my niece's 3rd birthday. it's an led smart bulb that you can change the color of using crayola markers. it was inspired by this reel: https://www.instagram.com/reel/DIE2O59Svcz/?igsh=MXNnbmJsZWR... that my friend sent me. i don't have much hardware experience and this was a super fun learning project, and she's had fun playing with it too :)

i built it using an m5stack esp32 dev kit, rfid reader, kauf smart bulb, and some rfid stickers

the one difference (i believe) between this project and the reel is that this version does not require connecting into an existing smart home setup - it's entirely self contained, does not require existing internet, and is built using oss and a cheap bulb that's available on amazon
