I would say, not particularly. Most cultural artifacts are going to fade into irrelevancy and be forgotten. You can’t imagine how many books, songs, operas, plays, and live acts from the 1800s have been forgotten. Even more from the 1700s. And so on. You think Shakespeare was the only playwright working in the early 1600s?
If anything we are far more saturated in and aware of the pop culture of the last 80 years than any generation has ever been.
