tl;dw: Two Tesla shareholders and influencers attempted to drive autonomously from coast to coast in the US. Tesla CEO Elon Musk had announced that this would be possible from 2017 onwards – but it had never been attempted before. However, the journey from San Diego in California to Jacksonville in Florida ended when the Tesla Model Y used caused an accident before reaching the 100-kilometer mark.
