Edit: I also notice that they were talking about Ubuntu 22.04 - which is already over three years old - aka considered ancient in the desktop Linux world. Which makes this article even more irrelevant, especially when they're talking about things like how Wayland lacks xyz support (eg the mouse cursor protocol already exists now).
