Show HN: Glenride – human-first, Conversation‑style forums (alpha)

1•natural1•1h ago
I’m testing Glenride, a modern forum-of-forums built for real conversation. If you’re feeling the bot creep, paywalls, and opaque moderation elsewhere, I’d love your eyes on this alpha.

What’s different: Bot-resistant by design (velocity caps, link cooldowns, optional non‑biometric proof‑of‑personhood) Transparent moderation (community charters, audit trails, appeals) Human-centric feeds (chronological and “quiet mode” ranking) Data portability + open API (fair terms; easy export) No sitewide paywalls; communities choose their own models Looking for feedback on onboarding, posting friction, mod tooling, and the API. Expect rough edges; mobile polish and some mod features are still in progress. Public roadmap and integrity metrics are linked from the site.

Link: https://glenride.onrender.com

I’ll be in the comments for questions. If you run a community and want to migrate, ping me—we’re prioritizing mod tooling and support.
