I don't think we need more AI slopware creating automated proposals for Upwork. The only reason this won't completely destroy the marketplace (like when people spam 1000 resumes to different companies, in hopes that one will get a response) is the fact that it costs money to send business proposal on Upwork.
I think job sites should follow this model. It would reduce spam for companies and make it easier for skilled applicants to get interviews.
I usually find 1 good project/year on Upwork.
Most are: scams, people that want work for pennies, people starting a new 'business' where they collect information from a bunch of potential freelancers with no clients, or overseas recruiting companies using VPNs to fake their location.
