Just finished reading this. If you've read about or heard some of the other Thiel Antichrist talks, this article actually adds to the conversation unlike many of the other articles that have been coming out about this. It goes deeper into what Girard's views were, and another theologian, Palaver, and his writings and how it relates to Thiel's views.

Traditionally, "unwell" monarchs, even if absolute, were dethroned for the safety and well-being of the realm. That could be done gently, with "best effort" legalities - such as https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Regency_Acts#Regency_Bill_1789

Unfortunately, there seems to be no equivalent tradition for plutocrats.
