Ask HN: Delaware C-Corp Governing Law Jurisdiction Using Clerky

Hey everyone, I just used Clerky to incorporate my startup as a solo founder. I'm doing the post-incorporation setup right now and I have to choose what governing law jurisdiction I use for the confidential information and invention assignment agreement (CIIAA). Clerky says that most founders pick the state that they're located in. I'm in Michigan. It also says this: "The CIIAA was designed for use under California or Delaware law. It is likely to work under the laws of other states as well, but you'll need to check with an attorney to be sure." So could I just pick Delaware and not worry about asking an attorney? Or do I have to ask a startup attorney if Michigan would be fine?
