We all have blind our spots, but numerous people have been warning of this nonstop since day one. Since even before then, by simply considering Sam Altman’s track record. I recommend you go back and search for those takes for further insights.

They don’t care. They never did.

Money, influence, power.

> Has Sam Altman lost his mind?

Has he ever had it? This is the same guy who said “we don’t know how to make money, we’ll invent AGI and then ask it how to do it” and who lamented LLM bots are making social media “feel very fake”. He’s the same guy who keeps screaming “OMG, the new version of ChatGPT is so scary” and then it’s just more of the same.
