Many talk about jobs AI is replacing, but what about the jobs it has created / is going to create?
I assume three categories: humans creating infrastructure for AI, humans using AI, AI creating something itself.
First: There’s more demand for nuclear engineers for energy constraints, low level hardware engineers to work with GPU/TPUs, and robotics engineers to train models.
Second: I have a few friends who consider themselves AI engineers. AI influencer or scientist are other examples of humans using AI.
Third: Recently, there was an AI artist who was signed to a record label. I haven’t heard of something like this happening in the literature or STEM space (unless you count AlphaFold).
I know there’s a lot I left out, or haven’t considered — what jobs has/is AI going to create? Thanks!

It's hard to see this as genAI creating jobs, it's just genAI doing a job that would otherwise have been done by a person. Even if it's not taking a job that would have been done by a person, no job was created.
