Ask HN: What tools are best for ripping CDs/DVDs with deliberate read errors?

2•HansGreebo•1h ago
I've been meaning to back up my old Windows game library and have been consistently running into deliberate read errors placed by the manufacturers way-back-when to discourage copying. I've tried tools like ImgBurn but they seem to take longer than directly copying every file from the disc manually. Is there a generally agreed upon program that works for this function?
