I used to work at a place where this happened, but it was our testers, and they mostly did it during breaks. After we developers found out, we’d also do it to hone our code.

But obviously this input doesn’t resemble valid input.

Every time I see a story like this, I wonder - what do these people actually do, that nobody can evaluate the actual output of their work?
