Show HN: I Started the New SEO

https://spore-ten.vercel.app/
1•maxprehoda•4mo ago
Hey HN, I've been building Spore to help businesses understand and improve how they appear in AI-generated responses.

Here is what it does: Monitors when and how your brand appears across AI platforms (ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, etc.)

Alerts you to mentions on social media and review platforms (Reddit, Instagram, TikTok, Youtube, X, Yelp, Google Reviews, and 12 more) so you can engage in those conversations organically (or send some bots to take care of it).

Helps generate relevant content that AI data crawlers are more likely to reference.

Automates SEO fundamentals like article creation and backlink building

Why I built this: There's obviously a new space opening up for manipulating AI services to "advertise" your brand as much as you can. I noticed businesses have no visibility into what AI systems say about them, and no systematic way to improve their AI presence.

The platform focuses on legitimate content creation and organic engagement (we do provide a lot of automation as well) - helping businesses create the kind of authoritative, well-structured content that AI systems naturally reference when answering user queries.

Current status: Basic monitoring across major AI platforms Auto-generate SEO-optimized articles and content Dashboard for tracking mention frequency and context

API for integration with existing marketing tools

It's early days and I'm looking for feedback on what metrics matter most to businesses trying to understand their AI presence. What would you want to track if you were monitoring your company's appearances in AI responses?

Happy to answer questions about the technical approach or discuss the challenges of tracking AI mentions at scale.

And my wild guess is you are using AI to generate the content that AI can understand, right?
