Mostly hype from the grifter bros making billions off of llms and their promises for the future, as well as bullshit like "this model produces perfect code, no bugs, no hallucinations"

It's overconfidence from sycophants who don't understand that the very heros they worship either don't grok the limitations of llms, or outright lie about them. It comes from people seeing what's not there and extrapolating.

imo, agis will come, but not from llm roots. They may utilise llms but they will be a different thing altogether - one that is able to learn and apply logic and actual understanding to problems, not just try to spit out the next word that would commonly be there based on many many data lifts.
