Seems to me like Musk being head of Tesla is the only thing keeping the share price up, so this is probably what you want as a Tesla shareholder.

That's just good business sense as Musk has created many jobs. But they should have taken advantage of cognitive biases and paid $999.99 billion, which would register as a lot less.
