You'll excuse me if I don't believe Ray Dalio, or give him any credit. When you hear an interview with him, he doesn't come off as anything other than ordinary. His other writing hasn't seemed stellar, either.

Dalio is also a billionaire. His economic interests do not align with mine, or with the enormous bulk of other US citizens and taxpayers. In combination with my impression of him as intellectually ordinary, the undeniable misalignment makes me think this book is rubbish.
