I built a small web app that lets you transform your own photos into different artistic styles using AI — things like oil painting, surrealism, impressionism, pencil sketch, or fantasy renderings.
The goal wasn’t to create another “filter app,” but a way to give ordinary photos a new life through custom-trained models that emphasize detail, texture, and lighting.
The project started as an experiment in making AI-generated art more personal and less generic — users upload their own images, tweak the result, and can then optionally have it printed on a canvas, poster, or other material.
I’d love feedback from the HN community — on the UI, model quality, or ideas for improving control over the output.
