Unclear what this actually does differently. The only dating app I’ve seen that designs their system to avoid the problems of modern dating is The League. The rest are basically second jobs people take for the very unlikely chance at a date.

it requires you import your address book. And then to date people you have to go through someone you know.

Everyone I know who has tried The League says it's the same people as the other apps, just fewer of them and no one seems to have logged in recently.
