> SPR AVS (Spatial Relay Audio-Visual Sync): Apple's new wireless protocol that enables lossless audio transmission capability—something Bluetooth fundamentally cannot do. Uses the N1 networking chip and A19 Pro processor for peer-to-peer encrypted connections with sub-10ms latency.
> ASAF (Apple Spatial Audio Format): A revolutionary format that anchors sounds to real-world physical space and incorporates room acoustics, not just device-relative positioning. Works with APAC (Apple Positional Audio Codec) for delivery at up to 768kbps.
The erroneous expansion of SPR AVS to "Spatial Relay Audio-Visual Sync" was entirely fabricated by Patently Apple, and reported on by other sites like TechRadar, which shortly after realized the error and corrected it with an update at the bottom of the article. This video cites under its sources that same TechRedar article which has the correction, which apparently escaped their notice.
