It feels harder to land a good job locally, especially if you’re not in a big tech hub. Remote roles still exist, but they seem fewer than before, and more employers want people back in the office at least a few days a week.
On the other hand, moving for a promising opportunity opens up a bigger job market.
So it’s a trade-off: - You risk uprooting your life for a new job. - But if you stick only to local or fully remote roles, you may be closing doors.
Would you move to another state for a job right now? Or stay put and wait for something local/remote?
