Ask HN: Isthere a niche for an OpenWbUI alternative built for WindowsServer/IIS?

1•gargantua89•3mo ago
I'm exploring a web UI for local LLMs built as a native part of the Windows Server ecosystem, meant to run directly on IIS.

The main value would be deep integration with corporate infrastructure, primarily seamless authentication and authorization via Active Directory. This avoids the "run it in Docker" approach, which often feels disconnected from a pure Microsoft environment.

Does this enterprise-focused niche seem viable from an ecosystem standpoint?

Or is this simply a dead-end idea in a world dominated by cross-platform tools?
