I'm still amazed that people aren't getting it. It isn't that we don't know how to use AI to generate content, it is that we don't want AI-generated content. That is the obvious use case for LLMs, but is also the epitome of the "first idea is the worst idea".

If the content piece is well done, you shouldn’t be able to tell it was AI-assisted. And if it’s valuable, you shouldn’t really care how it was made. You probably don't want mediocre content at all. But mediocrity existed long before AI.
But when you use AI with a critical mind, as part of a thinking process, it can actually push your ideas further than your own perspective alone. That's what I argue in the article.
