Had a friend who was a grain farmer. His son was home from college and was helping out. He got into a grain bin to smooth out the lumps. This kid had done it multiple times before. But this time he got sucked in and went below the surface of the grain.

Almost immediately the father got out a torch and cut into the bin letting the grain empty out along with his son. I arrived shortly thereafter before the ambulance arrived. I remember being horrified, I'd known this kid since he was entering kindergarten. Sadly it was too late, just in a few minutes he'd suffocated.

I remember being in complete shock. I am normally never at a loss for words but I was that day. Months later his dad volunteered to me that you never get over something like that, you just learn to live with it. If this thing really works it will not only save lives but families.
