I feel like this is a great thing for small network operators. The one thing that keeps me on Verizon is that there have been many occasions where I have been working in the middle of nowhere and I am the only person with a signal (everyone else was on T-Mobile). If you can get satellite internet anywhere in the world, suddenly it matters a lot less how good the provider’s network is.
