Show HN: An AI-flavored philosophy web app to fuel an offline journaling habit

https://www.gnothi.app
1•lumpycustard•3mo ago
This project grew out of an admittedly niche interest in western philosophy, and my own post-cancer treatment journaling habit.

You select a topic and it'll draw a passage from somewhere in the western philosophical canon (most times!) and serve up a handful of reflection prompts to nudge an offline reflection sesh. (whatever that might mean for you?)

Otherwise, you can bookmark and share your favs and filter sources and that's about it! The idea here was to create a thing that may help serve to nudge us away from the day-to-day autopilot, and hopefully contribute toward building a healthy mindfulness habit for some.

Anyway, have a peek if this sounds like it might be your jam! I'd love to hear from you if so.

There's a few more notes on the main landing page for those interested in a few more details.
