Are we really talking about ingame items as serious investment as being something to be protected, to make billionarie's sons also feel rich in games, too? Giving the m more places to feel better than the average person? Whoever spends 1000$ on an ingame item should really consider charity as a way to feel better. I don't care about "entepreneurs" who think that licenses on ingame items is a legit thing. I hope they suffer the losses and at least have the decency to just shut up.

It's all one big power game. This move is very good for some people and very bad for others. No doubt the people it's good for have connections at Valve HQ. Valve did willingly foster this whole gambling market thing to make money; now they've apparently decided they can make more money by crashing it.
